In this FLEX class students will have the opportunity to learn how to listen for, read, and spell words with different ending sounds. I will post a short video introducing each skill Monday-Thursday, and on Friday students will create a Flipgrid and teach the skills that they learned back to me. Each day after your child watches my mini lesson they will be provided with a hands on phonics worksheet or activity that lines up with the skill that was taught that day. We will use Flipgrid in this FLEX class. Flipgrid is a website and app that allows teachers to facilitate video discussions. Students are organized into groups and then given access to discussion topics. When we use Flipgrid I will post a code in the classroom. Once you click on the link it will take you to Flipgrid where your child can create and add cool effects to their video. We will be using scissors in this FLEX class. Please review scissor safety with your child before starting a scissor activity.
