수업 소개
In this interactive, one-time class, junior chefs will make fun zoo animal snacks with the guidance of a Registered Dietitian! Using simple ingredients like fruits, spreads, and bread, learners will create edible art that’s both healthy and delicious. This class is designed to boost creativity, motor skills, and confidence as kids craft animal faces like lions, monkeys, or fish. No oven or stove is needed, so it’s perfect for young chefs! Parents should remain nearby to assist if needed. By the end of the session, kids will have a snack ready to enjoy and a sense of pride in their creative masterpiece. Every session features a new zoo animal to keep things fresh and exciting. I teach live and adapt to each learner’s pace, ensuring everyone gets personal attention and a positive experience! I demo ALL recipes. I DO NOT teach by talking over pre recorded videos unless otherwise stated. -No matter the number of students in class, I teach each and every one. I DO NOT cancel because of low enrollment. Pictured: a fish made by me in one of the classes

For safety, parents should remain nearby to assist young chefs if needed. Outschool policy requires parents to stay off-camera and ensure that only enrolled learners participate. Families need to notify the instructor ASAP about any potential allergies. Most times, substitutions can be made for many via google. Each family is responsible for knowing what ingredients their family can have.

Hello! I’m Mrs. Lisa, a professional culinary educator and with nearly 30 years of experience teaching cooking, baking, and nutrition to learners of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. My love for food began as a child baking Southern classics with my grandmother, and I’ve since pursued formal training at Immaculata University (B.S. in Food and Nutrition Science, minor in Child Development) and Le Cordon Bleu Boston, as well as numerous culinary workshops.
As an instructor, I combine my expertise with a passion for making learning fun and interactive. I believe food brings people together, and my goal is to empower kids with kitchen confidence while teaching the science, culture, and joy of cooking. In this class, I’ll help your child create a delicious recipe and learn valuable life skills.
When I’m not teaching, I love traveling, hosting dinner parties, and sharing food experiences with my family. I’m so excited to welcome your child to my kitchen classroom—let’s bake something amazing together!
