グループ体験
🍕This group is for those learners that want to learn about the world, enjoy cooking and/or baking, and want to make new friends. 🍣In this group, I will post weekly challenges, recipes, and information about a country, and I will focus on one country a month, however, learners can do challenges at their own pace and even jump around from country to country as they would like to. Learners can participate as much or as little as they would like, however, all members will be encouraged to be supportive of other members. 🌮To keep the posts for each country in an organized order, teacher posts will be pinned to the top of the page and parents and learners are asked to review the Guidelines section on how to post. Using the comment sections of posts is highly encouraged versus creating seperate posts. In addition to food posts, I will also have challenges and non-food posts about countries. This is for those simply interested in learning more about places around the globe or for those unable to cook but interested in doing challenges. 🥘My role as moderator will be supportive. I will post and be available to answer questions. I will also monitor the group daily to make sure that group rules are followed. The goal is for the learners to have fun and share their ideas. While I am a moderator and facilitator of the group, and I hope to create a fun environment for those who love animals, I can not make others in the group participate. FAQ: ▪ Why is this group so inexpensive? - I have 3 children and I know how expensive everything can be for families especially those with multiple children. I try to price everything I do with that in mind. As this class is not in the live format and does not require any grading or homework assignments, I can reduce the price. ▪ Will learners really be able to cook these dishes? - Well, I can not answer that as all learners are at different levels in their ability and with the age range of the group being so wide, however, I add recipes that I believe learners will love. Some might need parental help and I will say that when needed. This group can be a source for family time together in the kitchen. I will also have non-food challenges and information for those that are not able to be in the kitchen. ▪ Why should I choose this group? - This is a fair question, there are a few on Outschool. All I can say is I do my best to bring value to everything I do. I love cooking and have made some very cool dishes with my own children. I also love learning about new places! ▪ Is this a live class? - No, this is not a live class. Learners are free to visit the group whenever they like. This doesn't mean I will be in the group at that time, but they will be able to leave notes, comment, add their posts, and do any challenges presented. ▪ What are the ages for this group? - While I have the age at 13-17 I have added a flexible age range, meaning that any age can join (8-18). I find that younger children look up to older ones and older ones enjoy helping younger ones. If you have any questions about this, please ask. 🔴Learners who do post will be required to be appropriate and those who comment will be kind, or they will be subject to removal from the group.

ガイドライン
Welcome to our Group! I want all of our learners to feel comfortable, connected, and safe. That's why I have 3 rules I ask you to follow: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Respectful.
Be Kind - Help all learners feel welcome and included. Teasing, name calling, or bullying anybody in our community? Nope. Not happening here
Be Safe - Keep your personal information private and never ask other learners for theirs. Keep your full name, home address, email, and school name private.
Be Respectful - Treat others how you want to be treated. Keep language clean. If you wouldn't say it or share with your grandma, don't do it here. Also, please make sure to be covered up in videos and pictures... pj's are fine, but clothes are required!
This is a group, not a live class. Learners are here to do things on their own schedule, some may do all the challenges, post updates on their pets, and comment on everything, while others might read everything but never comment, and some might do a bit of both... all is ok. Just be yourself and have some fun. Comment and encourage others in the group and remember the you participate, the more fun it will be for everyone!
🔵Posting Information:
You are more than welcome to create your own post for others to comment on, but learner posts will be at the bottom of the page. This is to help keep the page tidy and the different countries' challenges and posts together.
While posting is an option, I encourage learners to comment on my posts unless they are wanting to create their own challenges, and I ask that you please only start a new thread if it is one of the following...
▪ A challenge related to a country (something others can do too)
▪ A recipe from a country (and please include the country on the post)
▪ A fun or interesting fact about a country
I will have "open" posts for learners to post on. Examples include...
▪ Post a picture of a place you have always wanted to visit
▪ Tell the group about a fun trip you went on
▪ What are your favorite foods to eat
This will allow everyone to connect and share about things outside of topic and give learners a place to put their creative ideas, pictures, and more... without having 300 post threads about mac and cheese.
This doesn't mean that you can chat with each other, it just means that the actual post threads should stay related to the group, however, you can chat in the comments about soccer, Roblox, Minecraft, or whatever you'd like (as long as it is appropriate).
If you have any questions, please let me know by sending me a private message!
What can learners do in this chat group?

France - Crepe Challenge!
Foods of the World - A Social Culinary Group (13-17) is a community of learners that come together on Outschool to share what they’re learning, ask questions, participate in challenges, and get feedback on their projects
My crepes were good and I made some whipped cream for them too
I love France and Paris. I can't wait to visit there and try all the food. We make crepes alot but my favorite thing on them is just strawberries and honey!
We bought caramel sauce for ours. I can't wait to make them again.
