このクラスで学べること

This private cooking class is catered to learners curious about going “veg” or just thinking about their food choices. 

Students will learn how to prepare yummy vegetarian, vegan, and plant-based meals that are fun to make and are not heavily processed. 

Plus, I accommodate gluten-free families.

I can come up with a list of delicious recipes or learners can request a dish. 

After you've joined this class, we'll have a chat about what dish you'd like to create and the essential ingredients needed. 

Once you've made your choice, I'll share the list of ingredients, and after our class, you'll receive a recipe to recreate your dish again. 

Some experience in the kitchen is required for safety reasons.

Example topics include-
Chickpea Burgers and Shiitake Bacon
Vegan/Vegetarian Pizza
Mexican Quinoa Stuffed Sweet Potatoes
Scalloped Potatoes
Vegan Bolognese
Mushroom Walnut Tacos
Falafel and Hummus
Cherry Pie
Apple Pie
Brownies
Vegan Ice Cream

Students should have experience mixing, chopping, and using kitchen equipment such as a food processor. 

Students will practice mixing, cutting, kneading, flipping, and some multitasking. They will also practice cooking on a stovetop and oven. 

Parental supervision is strongly encouraged.

This class is ongoing and can be booked for as little as one session or as many sessions as you would prefer. 

Learners are also encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and express their preferences for different foods. 

This class is planned for 1 hour, but sometimes it might end a bit earlier or go a little past 1 hour, depending on the recipe.

My classes have been praised by parents for their relaxing and therapeutic nature, providing a positive learning space for unique learning needs. I offer a flexible pace, visual and verbal instructions, and an encouraging environment.

This class requires the use of equipment and utensils such as a stove, oven, knives, food processor, and others. Most of the recipes ask for cutting, frying, baking products, and other hazardous tasks that can lead to cuts, burns, and other kinds of injuries during their preparation. Parental supervision and help during these tasks are required at all times. The recipes call for many ingredients, so please, check them for any food restrictions and/or potential allergens for your children. I will post the supply list in the classroom.
