We will practice many different foam roller techniques to release and stretch the entire body. Rolling on the foam roller releases muscular and fascial tension. Foam Roller is my favorite class to teach and I want everyone to have a safe and effective experience. To that end, going forward, I am requiring all students to have their cameras on themselves at all times throughout the class. I will put any student without a camera in the waiting room. If there is an actual technical difficulty and a parent/guardian informs me of the issue, I can make an exception for that day, This is for everyone’s safety and fairness. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please let me know. Foam rolling is generally safe and is often used in therapeutic settings. For your learner’s comfort and safety, please be sure s/he has sufficient space in all directions (an open leg span ideally). Sneakers are optional but recommended and please have water available during class and students should drink plenty after class as well. Please have light weights (1 lb) or soup cans on hand - or filled water bottles - looking for about a pound of resistance for some arm work.
