We will be learning about the Great Molasses Flood of 1919 - the cause of it, real life people and the aftermath. We will talk about how people were effected by it. We will discuss ways the disaster could have been avoided. We will also discuss what life was like for immigrants in the early 1900's in America. I will use slides, newspaper articles, story telling and a worksheet.
