このクラスで学べること

Students will learn basic baking skills such as how to follow recipes, how to measure ingredients, and kitchen safety. Additionally students will learn what makes the recipes healthy and what typical unhealthy ingredients are being substituted. Students will also learn that everyone can follow the exact same recipe and have different results, and that’s okay!
I have been baking and following recipes since I was a child, mostly with my mom who is home-baker. I grew a love for baking and love trying new recipes! My family has recently done a switch where we try to only bake healthy foods as much as possible. Therefore, I now have a vast selection of healthy recipes!

Students are expected to follow-along to the recipe videos and try the recipes, post the results of their creations in the classroom through photos and/or videos, participate in the polls and discussions, and then participate in the recipe swap at the end of the class.

Ingredients and supply list will be posted ahead of each week in the classroom. 

Supplies for all four weeks:
•	Measuring cups
•	Measuring spoons
•	Bowls
•	Spoon for mixing

Ingredients for Week One:
•	Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
•	Peanut Butter (or any nut or seed butter)
•	Pure Maple Syrup (or honey)
•	Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
