This is a kind and creative group where students can create and show off original characters. Students will have opportunities to collaborate in fantasy fiction and role play stories with their characters interacting with one another.

I've been teaching theatre for 25 years and I was also a children's performer for ten of those years. I own a theatre program, and, before the pandemic, I put on a show after every 20 hours of instruction (almost 60 shows in six years!). I've been teaching in some capacity since 1996: public, private, homeschool. I'm also a published writer and love to facilitate as students write their creative ideas. I got the idea for this group from a class I've taught called "Quirky Characters" where...
This group is a forum that allows for CREATIVITY, CONNECTION and COURAGE....three of the biggest learning goals for a lifetime! My hope is that students will feel safe enough that they can courageously share their creative endeavors, and, in this sharing, connect with classmates. In my theatre, improv and writing classes students are always wanting to share their illustrations, their self made videos and their stories. My hope is this group will be a place where they can do just that. I will use my expertise as a theatre teacher and writer to inspire and facilitate through the process.
