Write Your Novel!

In this class students have a dedicated, uninterrupted hour each week to work on their book with support from an attentive and engaged writing coach. 

Each class the student will have an opportunity to brainstorm and talk through their writing process with Ms. Jackson before the timer is set for uninterrupted writing time. Ms. Jackson is available for any questions or suggestions or to encourage them through writer's block. 

At the end of each class, the student has an opportunity to read aloud or share in the chat the portion of the book they have written that day. Ms. Jackson and classmates are available through the process to encourage the writer. 

Students can send Ms. Jackson their weekly writings in a document and she will help with editing and formatting as requested. If the student wants to self publish the book, Ms. Jackson will walk them through the process.
