It's hard to be in middle school, and it's hard to be a girl, sometimes. We will counteract messages that imply we aren't good enough as we are, and the we need to change to become good enough. We will do this by focusing on what we are proud of. This lesson is a one-time preview of my ongoing class. Positive Affirmations: Girls will create a list of 5 positive things they are by completing the sentence I am _____. The last blank will say "I am Enough." We will share and discuss that each of us is enough as we are, and we are all valuable. We will listen to pop song, "I am Enough," and discuss the message of the song

My favorite topics to teach are; social-emotional learning, drawing, history, reading, math, and biology.
During the pandemic, I gained experience teaching through Zoom. I also ran a Zoom Drawing Club last year. I loved it, and so did my students. I had many kids who signed up more than once. I wanted to bring that passion and fun to families and students on Outschool as well.Reseñas
