Welcome! I'm excited that you joined this class.  Please bring paper or a notebook! Please also bring pencils and markers! This is a full curriculum class for fourth grade math students! This class is a perfect fit for home school families and families looking for math enrichment!

Class experience: 
I will begin class with a hello song and end with a good bye song!  I teach in a patient and engaging manner; students will feel confident learning math skills!  

Each day, students will listen as I model how to solve questions!  I will teach using a white board and marker, and students are welcome to copy onto their pencil and paper! Then, we will solve questions together, on the zoom white board!  I will prompt students to remind them of the next steps!  Next, students will have an opportunity to solve questions independently, with their pencil and paper or with the zoom white board! Last, we will discuss and review their answers! I will re-teach as needed throughout class!

Week of August 12: Geometry (How to describe shapes)
Week of August 19: Geometry (How to measure angles and describe angles)
Week of August 26: Measurement (How to find volume, perimeter and area)
Week of September 4: Measurement (How to convert between units of measurement)

Homework:
I will provide homework by posting 3 questions in the classroom after each class! Students are invited to write down the homework questions and bring it to the next class time! The homework is an opportunity for students to practice their skills, but it is not required and students are welcome to attend class without it!
