In this 6-week course, children will create their own story based on the Kingdom of Hyrule (the home of Zelda).

In this 6-week Zelda-themed creative writing class, learners will bring to life their own world and characters based on the Kingdom of Hyrule and lore from the Legend of Zelda world. Lessons are made up of discussions and idea sharing, stand-alone activities, and longer independent writing assignments. Children are encouraged to share their writing with their classmates however this isn't compulsory. Week 1 - Character Building Students will focus on how to build a character from scratch...
Learners will improve their understanding of 6 key concepts in creative writing: character building, imaginative descriptions, scene setting, story themes, structuring a story and sentence fluency.
Combat in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom isn't graphic, but it can still be intense and dramatic, especially during some boss fights. Combat is presented from a third-person perspective and involves standard fantasy elements such as swords, shields, axes, bows and arrows, explosives, and elemental magic. Link fights monsters similar to goblins, ogres, and fairies. No blood or gore, though the animals Link hunts for food turn into raw, red steaks.
