US Grade 3 - 6
A fun writing class where you can make up your own stories! Great for kids who like to think big and come up with cool ideas. You don't have to be a writing expert to join. We start each class with a fun activity or creative game to get our brains working. Then, I'll give you a fun idea to write about. It might be a picture, some words, or even a short song clip. After that, we all talk about different ideas for our stories. I'll help guide the talk, but it's mostly led by you! We'll chat about things like the bad guy in the story (antagonist) or the main problem (conflict). If these words sound new, don't worry! Anyone can join this class, even if English isn't your first language. It's a fun way to practice talking and writing in English. When we have lots of ideas, you'll start writing. If you're not sure what to write next, you can ask me or your classmates. And don't worry about spelling everything right the first time. Just let your ideas out! At the end of class, you can share what you wrote. You can also talk about where you might take your story next if you want to keep writing it.
