Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their ability to recall and use sight words at their current reading level. By increasing sight word knowledge, they will also improve their daily reading ability.
I love working with words and have been doing so with young children for fifteen years. I have used my Master's degree for Teaching Reading in a variety of ways, however, working with spelling words is one of my favorites.
Optional worksheets or activities will be provided for those students who wish to do more.
A variety of "office" materials will be used: pencils, pens, markers, crayons, glue stick, etc. I will supply a list for each weekly class upon enrollment.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
