Feed the Mouse Spelling Game - A Fun, Interactive Hangman Alternative

In this class, learners will practice spelling words and using them in sentences while playing the "Feed the Mouse" hangman alternative game. The words come from a third grade spelling list, but only knowledge of the letters is necessary to participate in this class.   

This class is an interactive spelling game. In class, I will show learners how to play the game. Learners will guess letters to spell the words and feed the mouse cheese. After spelling the words on the list, we'll make sentences with the words. Can  you make a sentence using all ten words? After class learners can save the game to their device to play later.

WORD LIST (in all caps) As well as vocabulary development, we will expand and talk about compound words, vowels,  place value and make sentences with the words.
