In this 1:1 private class, an Institute for Excellence in Writing Registered Instructor will guide the learner through the IEW units focusing on structure, grammar, and style.
Class experience
In this one-to-one tutoring class, the learner will be instructed in the IEW writing method and receive feedback concerning their writing assignments. Each class will involve instruction in an aspect of the IEW method and may include grammar/spelling rules, editing, and writing practice. Style techniques will be introduced throughout the class meetings as the learner is ready for them. I am a Registered Instructor with the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW).
Depending on the source chosen by the learner, an IEW book may need to be purchased. Writing materials may be needed by the learner during class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Other materials may be used by the learner for research. We may use thesaurus.com from my shared screen during class on occasion. Please specify if you prefer that I do not use that site during our classes.
