Class Experience

US Grade 8 - 11
Writing is no easy task. However, students can make writing easier by learning to avoid common grammar mistakes that many young writers make.

First, we will learn what the mistake is and how to identify the mistake. Then we will learn how to correct the mistake making our writing clearer and easier to understand.

The mistakes include:
1. Sentence Fragments
2. Run-on sentences and/or comma splices

Students need a basic understanding of the parts of speech and basic punctuation. This is a class that will benefit all students of all levels.

A quick reference guide regarding this topic will be provided to all learners that complete the course. I look forward to helping your student become a better writer.

Every learner in my classroom is important to me, and I want each learner to feel comfortable. I want to address the needs of each student. Therefore, if you feel your student has special needs I should take into consideration please feel free to share those with me in a message.
