Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6
Proofreading finished work is one of the most important steps in writing. In this class, students will look at text to spot errors and learn why something is incorrect and how to fix it. Rules such as when to paragraph, the conjunction comma rule, varying word choices, identifying sentence fragments, misspellings, and proper capitalization will be discussed with the reasons and remedies of why and how to correct these. I teach in a relaxed manner. Prior knowledge: The learner must have basic reading ability so they can read the text that will be screen shared. Class Rules: We mute so we do not talk over one another, we are kind and respectful to everyone, if we have a question or comment, we raise our hand, and as per the Outschool rules, the camera must be turned on at the beginning of class so I may verify the learner.
