In this one time writing class, students will learn the basics of how to proofread their work for errors and learn ways to fix them.

Proofreading finished work is one of the most important steps in writing. In this class, students will look at text to spot errors and learn why something is incorrect and how to fix it. Rules such as when to paragraph, the conjunction comma rule, varying word choices, identifying sentence fragments, misspellings, and proper capitalization will be discussed with the reasons and remedies of why and how to correct these.
