Personalized Writing/Reading Assistance/Tutoring

I am a certified teacher and have taught writing and reading for over 26 years.  Many of my students have won writing contests at the National level.  In this individual, as needed tutoring session, I will work on specific issues that your learner has difficulty with such as writing interesting sentences, as well as teaching how to write a basic paragraph,  the introduction paragraph, body paragraphs, a conclusion, grammar, punctuation, or varying word choices.  For reading, I can help with basic reading or comprehension.  In addition, I have a Special Education degree, so I try to diversify my teaching to match the learner's style.  I do teach part time, so I will do my best to accommodate your learner.  It is helpful when you message me to let me know what area of writing or reading needs to be addressed.  If the issue is something I cannot help you with or I cannot accommodate your desired time(s), I will let you know that.   Attachments will be sent that deal with the topic addressed (when appropriate) so your student can practice the skills taught at home.  You have the option to tutor as needed, every other week, or weekly.  This can be discussed when we chat via messaging. I do have room in May for sessions and for the summer.
