Welcome to this fun, engaging academic class! In this class, students will learn parts of speech! I will review the terms: noun, verb, adjective, and adverb! I will explain that nouns are people, places and things and will also explain that verbs show actions! I will also explain that adjectives describe nouns and adverbs describe verbs! Next, students will think of sentences and write them down! We will discuss their sentences together! As we think of sentences, we will make sure that each one has a noun and a verb. We will also add details (adjectives and adverbs) to describe the nouns and verbs! Please bring paper and markers to this conversational writing class!
