Each student will have an individualized plan they will work on during our session together based on their goal for our time together.  I utilize on-screen visuals and whiteboards for assistance in our learning.  Should you have any materials that fit your learner and their current needs please reach out to me prior to our session.

My teaching philosophy encompasses all learning styles. I want to engage my students and provide dynamic private tutoring to build upon students' current knowledge. Each student is unique and has a specific way they learn best. Whether a student enjoys conversation, drawing, visuals, or listening, they will feel comfortable in our sessions. I tutor locally as well as privately online from elementary through university levels. I have assisted in the editing and publishing process, as well as statistical footnotes in books, periodicals, and journals. My background in nursing, homeschooling and tutoring will provide your student with an individualized session that builds their confidence and, most of all, enjoyment in the subject we are covering. 

Additional practice may be recommended at home to address current learning goals. We will work together to help your learner feel confident and relaxed while truly enjoying learning together.  My goal is for your child to truly want to spend time together gaining new ideas and growing their educational journey.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
