Class Experience
🌞 In this one-time class, the students will learn about the many things they can see in the summer and be able to talk about this season with their friends in class. They will have a time for sharing their own experiences during this season and engage in a summer activity using their hand and paints after the story is done. *The students may bring something to share that represents summer which gives them a chance to talk with others. 🌞 My teaching style is organized and full of fun while...
*The student will work on story retelling. *The student will make predictions. *The student will practice good listening skills. *The student will engage in conversation. *The student will engage in an art project.
🌞I am an experienced elementary reading teacher and have a great love for children’s literature and being able to incorporate books into all subject areas. I want my students to be excited about reading/writing and I feel that my passion comes thru in each story I tell!
🌞blow dryer 🌞paintbrush/acrylic paint any color 🌞paper towel or baby wipes 🌞white, red and brown construction paper/one color of choice for background 🌞scissors, glue, black marker
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
🌞 Parental guidance will be needed for painting your child’s hand and using a blow dryer to dry the handprint.
