Using Super Mario to Understand Math (Multiplication Part 1)

During this class we will channel your students' enthusiasm for Super Mario for learning math!  

We will use math puzzles, and games to give students an opportunity to think critically and deeply about mathematics, develop problem-solving strategies, and work through math problems.

During this class, we will practice multiplication facts 0, 1, 2, 5, 10 & 11.  Your student should be able to skip-count, have a good handle on addition facts.  As well, students should be able to take turns.  There is one activity that utilizes the annotate function in zoom.  There will be alternate modes to participate in all activities so that those without the annotate function can continue to participate.
