Class Experience

Welcome to the Series of Classes -Unlocking Creativity-
Under the right conditions, all children can become more creative thinkers, expressive artist and problem solvers. 
Drawing is one of the ways to unlock their creativity!

On this One-Time class students will learn to draw faces in proportions, everybody will be encouraged to create a self portrait.
Students will learn the secrets to drawing realistic human faces quickly and easily. 

This class is perfect for beginners. No prior drawing...

This class is taught in English.

Students will learn how to draw faces and facial features step by step;

I am a character illustrator and costume designer with the MFA from Northwestern University, I've taught various art and design related classes for 7 years and I have worked with all different age learners. 

I have been drawing people for the last 18 years. Besides my professional expertise my inspiration for creating this class is coming also from my love of drawing and character creation.

Students are encouraged to keep working on their drawings outside of class. They can email their finished drawings for additional feedback after the class.

Eraser
Drawing Paper
Pencil Sharpener
Ruler
Something for blending- q tips, tissue or blending tools.
Colored pencils! or any other coloring medium
Mirror or photo of themselves for a reference
* I will be using graphite pencils and blending tools with a combination of different coloring mediums. Every young artist can use anything they prefer.

1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
