JOIN ANYTIME! Enroll and unenroll anytime without penalty. Join each week, pause as often as needed or take 1 class! All classes are stand-alone! In these ONGOING subscription classes, you'll learn expert tips to develop your basic drawing skills further. Learn the basic shape foundations of drawing, sketching, and realism techniques. (Beginning drawing experience required)(NOT for Beginners) Learn the basic shape foundations of realistic drawing and sketching. Draw cool stuff like a Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, and more! You'll receive information and instruction on various drawing methods and techniques. We'll also learn fun facts about each dinosaur through discussion and video education! Each week we draw a different dinosaur step by step. You'll learn observation elements of art in all sections. Each learner will be able to interact and receive instructor feedback throughout the class. At the end of each class, we share the work we've created. Below are the dinosaurs we will be drawing/sketching and discussing week by week per session. Learning Goals

Each week, you will draw a different Dinosaur. You'll learn some of the elements of art techniques used to make the work.

I am Jennifer Jones - Jones of Art. Professional Artist , Art Instructor, and Muralist.
You'll learn the basic and advanced techniques of drawing, how to paint and utilize mixed mediums, dabble with pastels, be inspired by artists in history, learn basic animation, digital arts, and much more... You'll gain new motor and cognitive skills along with a new awareness of the importance of creativity and art in our everyday lives as well as your community.
Background: Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation stemming from Fine Arts with 15 years of instructing experience. I am truly passionate about helping others through art by teaching and experimenting with new techniques and helping students see the world from a new perspective. As a professional Artist and former Chair of the Leander Public Art Commission for the City of Leander, I strive to bring excellent education about art in the community and all areas to those who love to learn, create and explore!
