Tutoring Academy - Reading and/or Math - Twice a Week

Private Tutoring Lessons offered by a certified teacher with nineteen years experience teaching Kindergarten and First Grade.

These one - on - one sessions will focus on your child's individual Literacy and Math needs. Each session will be custom designed to work on building your child's reading skills in comprehension, fluency, decoding, vocabulary, and sight words or Math skills. Lessons will be interactive and engaging.

General Literacy Session Layout:
*Review of previous lesson's reading and sight words
*Introduction of new skills and word work
*Practice of new skills - Reading  of new text

Math sessions can include, but are not limited to, the following:
Counting (by 1's, 2's, 5's, 10's)
Addition
Subtraction
Word Problems
Money
Place Value
Time
2D and 3D shapes
Graphing and Data Analysis
