In this one-time class, learners will learn the basics of reading an analog clock. We'll practice telling time to the hour, identifying the hour and minute hand, and discussing a.m. and p.m.

In this one-time class, learners will begin to gain an understanding of telling time! We will do this through visuals, a guided worksheet, and discussion. Our class will begin with sharing good news, my favorite way to start every class. I will use this conversation to teach learners the difference between a.m. and p.m. We will talk about different parts of the day (morning, afternoon, evening). Our class will be focused around Common Core Standard for Data and Measurement CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.MD.C.7 (Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m).
1 file available upon enrollment3 worksheets will be provided for learners to print for class. Learners will also need a pencil.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
