After completing this course, students should have an understanding of what it takes to make a hat. They will not only learn 3 new hat patterns, but also how to correctly measure for hat sizes, how to follow patterns, some new stitches, and how to use what they've learned to create their own design.

Hi, I’m Mrs. Brooke, and I’ve been crocheting for over 20 years. I own my own crochet business, blog, pattern shop, and YouTube Tutorial channel. I’ve sold over 800 physical items, 6k patterns, had over 60k downloads of my free patterns in my shop, over 200k visits to my blog for crochet patterns, and over 100k views for my crochet tutorials on YouTube. I’m excited to start sharing my passion and techniques with students. I will be offering classes on learning the basic stitches as well as how to complete a finished project like a hat, small stuffed animal, fingerless gloves, etc. So be sure to check out my other classes as well.

Students should know how to start a project by working chain stitches, and be able to successfully single crochet in those chain stitches well enough to make a square. We will be working in the round, but we will learn that in class.
