Intermediate Level
This class is for students who are comfortable with working in a straight line and who are familiar with working in the round. In this class, students will review how to crochet in the round, read patterns, and basic crochet stitches, and abbreviations. Students will be working on making a crochet animal. Each student will be able to pick the animal of their choice and will recieve guidance on each step of their patterns. No Class No Charge Week of July 7th and July 14th Week 1: Students will chose their animal and work on the increase rounds. Week 2: Students will continue with their animals for their length rounds. Week 3: Students will work on decrease rounds. Week 4: Students will work on arms, legs, and ears. Week 5: Students will work on face features and accessories. Week 6-8: Students will continue with their patterns.
Learning Goals
After completing this course, students should have an understanding of what it takes to work in the round and make an animal.Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students should know their single crochet, increase, and decrease stitches. Should should also have experience working in the round, but we will review this in class also.
