Is your student ready to tackle 2nd Grade Math? In this class, students will learn to master their math concepts in a fun and interactive way! We will have a teaching time, lots of student interaction where we will go over each problem together, and some time at the end for a fun game. Students will also be given the opportunity to complete worksheets that will be sent out after each class.

This is a weekly 2nd grade math class so students are welcome to drop in when they can.

******Friday Classes: I'll be traveling Oct 4th, and 11th. We won't have classes for those 2 days, and you won't be charged. 

Week 1: Addition within 100
Week 2: Subtraction within 100
Week 3: Read and Write Numbers
Week 4: Telling Time to the nearest 15 min, half hour, and hour
Week 5: Comparing Numbers up to 3 digits
Week 6: Adding larger numbers by carrying
Week 7: Subtracting Large Numbers by borrowing
Week 8: Counting Money
Week 9: Simple Word Problems with Money
Week 10: Rounding Numbers to the nearest 10
Week 11: Identifying Shapes
Week 12: Measurements 
Week 13: Intro to Multiplication 
Week 14: Intro to Fractions

We will rotate through these topics, and additional weeks and topics will be added as needed.
