We will focus on each week's assigned chapters and engage in discussion based on the topics within the chapters. Presentations will be based on various resources such as textbooks, documentaries, etc. Students will be excepted to read the assigned chapters before classes. We will cover the following topics -American Colonial Life and Enslavement -Civil Rights Movement -Jim Crow Laws
