As a Kindergarten teacher, experienced in student inquiry, I will build upon your child's love of bunnies! Students will learn some fun facts about bunnies. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own knowledge of bunnies. The students will then learn how to draw their very own cute bunny step-by step, through directed drawing. Using my own easel, I will give your child step by step instructions to help them create their own adorable bunny drawing. Directed drawing is beneficial to children because it helps to develop listening skills, focus and creativity. As well, your child will gain confidence in their ability to create beautiful art. If there is time, drawings may be coloured or painted and shared.
Learning Goals
Students will learn facts about bunnies.
Students will use their oral communication skills to ask questions and share knowledge.
Students will develop fine motor control by drawing a bunny.
Students will develop listening skills, focus and creativity by completing a directed drawing of a bunny.Other Details

Please bring paper and a pencil, as well as coloured pencils, markers, or watercolour paints.

Hello! My name is Ms. Erin and I have been a classroom teacher for over 20 years, specializing in the primary grades. I have been teaching Kindergarten for the last 10 years and am excited to bring my expertise in teaching letters, sounds, phonics, rhyming and reading strategies to the online platform. My classes are highly interactive and engaging, using lots of songs, props and games to make learning fun for your child!
