Class Experience
As a certified teacher, experienced in student inquiry, I will build upon your child's love of cats! Students will learn some fun facts about cats. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences with cats. The students will then learn how to draw their very own cute kitty step-by step, through directed drawing. Using my own easel, I will give your child step by step instructions to help them create their own adorable cat drawing. Directed drawing is...
Students will learn facts about how to take care of a cat. Students will use their oral communication skills to ask questions and share experiences. Students will develop fine motor control by drawing a cat. Students will develop listening skills, focus and creativity by completing a directed drawing of a cat.
Students may share the info learned in class with a friend or family member.
Please bring paper and a pencil or thin black marker to do your drawing with. You may also wish to have pencil crayons or markers available to add colour to our drawings.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
