Our recorder lesson will give an introduction to the recorder and help students on their way to making pleasant sounds on the recorder. We will focus on how to hold the recorder, how to use our air to make the recorder sing instead of squeak, and fingerings for 3 notes. The lesson will be tailored to the students and will focus on understanding and good tone over quantity of concepts. Topics that might be taught are: - Fingerings for B, A, and G - Breathing and articulation - Note names of the treble clef - Rhythm: notes and rests - Time Signatures **Please note that all of these will not be taught in one lesson.** For the best experience, students can interact with me prior to our lesson via our Outschool classroom, posting one or two very short videos to the classroom. I will respond with a short video with tips to practice before the lesson. This will also help me tailor the lesson to your learners. Some of the lesson might be taught with the students on mute so that there isn't feedback when the teacher and students play together.
