Miss Suzanne is a licensed K-12 music teacher with a decade of experience teaching K-6 music in New Jersey’s public schools and as a private lesson teacher. In addition to her classroom experience, Miss Suzanne owns and operates her own music education business providing learning resources and ideas to other music educators.

Homework Offered
To maximize the value of these lessons, it's important for learners to engage in consistent practice. Ideally, daily practice is encouraged, but I understand that each learner's schedule and lifestyle are unique. Together, we will collaborate to craft a practice routine that aligns with your learner's schedule. This approach ensures that practicing routine remains both enjoyable and effective.

Assessments Offered
I primarily assess learners through observation, carefully monitoring their progress. Occasionally, we may incorporate digital tools to strengthen musical literacy. Please see the parental guidance section for more information regarding the use of third-party tools in this class.
Grades Offered

This class uses the method book 'Be A Recorder Star' by Ed Sueta. Learners will need to purchase the online student code to access the curriculum and practice at home outside of class.
