We will learn how to produce a good sound (embouchure), and how to play two different notes, B and A. Treble clef will be introduced along with music notation. Week 2 - New note G will be introduced. Rhythm and beat will be incorporated. Week 3 - We will learn simple songs using the notes B, A, and G. Learners will practice identifying notes through games and drills. Week 4 - Review simple songs and add more complex notation - eighth notes will be introduced in this class. Learners will do best in this class if they do not have prior musical experience.
