Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 9
There will be a total of 15 Meetings in 3 Weeks, 5 meetings per week.. The topics will be covered in all areas of Science which includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Environmental Science. I will be using Google Slides, Videos, Lectures, White Board and Projects to teach Lessons.

In this Class, students will study all the important Science Concepts required for the Middle school students to prepare for High school science courses. This is a Semester long course and covers important State Standards from middle level science courses.Students may also join in between to attend certain topics which they consider they need tutoring for.

All Sessions will be interactive and students will also get to participate to complete lessons during class time. I will screen share and let students complete slides as part of their assessments. Students will be allowed to also raise hand and ask questions for better clarity. I am a Certified Science Teacher for Texas, Virginia and South Carolina, and presently working in a Public School in Virginia. This class will help students strengthen their conceptual knowledge in Science and prepare them better for high school science.

I will teach each topic during one Meeting and provide notes and videos for the topic so that students can practice at home. The Schedule for the Meetings is provided below:

Other Details

Parental Guidance
1. I will be using Near pod to present information during class. Near pod is interactive and will be used as LMS during class time. Students will require their Parents Gmail account to join class. Students do not need to create any Gmail account. 2. I will also be using google slides to share content via screen share. Students do not need to create any account for that. 3. Some YouTube videos will be embedded in the Near pod lessons and students will be able to watch them during live lessons during screen share. Students need not not create any account. 4. I will be using Gimkit for assessments. Students do not need to create any account but will have to use the join code which will be provided during lesson. The assessment will happen only through screen share. 5. In order to use Pear deck, students will be given a join code and will be used as LMS during class time. Students do not need to create any account.
