I am a private tutor with a Master's in Child Psychology. Most of my experience comes from helping children who learn differently. I help children with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Autism, ADHD, and other learning differences. We use games and fun activities to make learning feel more like play.

In the classroom, a downloadable workbook will be assigned to the students. They will be given a challenge to complete, and the ones who succeed will be rewarded with a BIG PRIZE at the end of our 2-week session. This challenge will be a great motivator, even for the most reluctant readers. During the course, we will be using playdough, slime, or putty to make letters and sight words. Writing these words on a rice tray or sand tray is optional. To showcase their learning, students will need a whiteboard and dry erase markers.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will be given additional assignments and websites to utilize as resources.
We will use different platforms such as Education.com, NearPod, Kahoot, and Epic. These can be used outside of the classroom and after the 2-week session is completed. These resources will help students love learning and find joy in reading.
