Learners will use Nearpod during some lessons. Learners will need a second device or split the screen on one device to use Nearpod and Zoom simultaneously. This class does not promote a specific religion or religious point of view. It follows Outschool's Class Content Policy and focuses on the instruction and parts of a story. Some books are holiday-themed or have cultural characters such as the Tooth Fairy, Santa, or the Easter Bunny. Though the focus is on reading discussions and literacy activities, it is possible for some learners to share their beliefs (or nonbelief) about holiday/cultural characters, and views of holidays in the themed stories. Toothless Wonder (Book 20) - Tooth Fairy BOO...and I MEAN It! (Book 24) - Halloween Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! (P.S. So Does May.) (Book 25) - Christmas Turkeys We Have Loved and Eaten (and Other Thankful Stuff) (Book 28) - Thanksgiving
