Private Reading Tutor for K–3rd Gr | 55-Min Session to Build Confident Readers

This is a personalized tutoring class for reading students in first or second grade. Students will focus on specific skills to help become fluent readers.


Topic Options

⭐️ Letter recognition & sounds
⭐️ High frequency words
⭐️ Decodable words (CVC, CVCE)
⭐️ Digraphs, blends, controlled vowels
⭐️ Decodable stories / books
⭐️ Reading comprehension


📕Class Structure
Each class is 55 minutes long. During our lesson we will start with a warm up activity. Afterwards we will complete 1-2 focus task. We will conclude class with a review game. 


Tutoring Policies ✨

📆 Scheduling
Tutoring sessions occur once (or twice) a week at a recurring agreed upon day and time.
Students are expected to be ready and prepared for the session. 


⏰ Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds
Students are allowed to reschedule 1 session per 6 months. 

In case of a cancellation or rescheduling of a session, the family must notify the tutor via email at least 48 hours in advanced.

Missed sessions without prior notification or inadequate notice will not be refunded.

✏️ Materials, Resources, & Homework
Students are expected to bring a paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker to each class.
Some classes may include additional resources or supplementary materials as needed. Homework is provided upon request.


⭐️ Conduct & Expectation
Students are expected to come prepared for each session.
The tutor reserves the right to terminate sessions or refuse further service if a student engages in disrespectful or inappropriate conduct.
