This personalized tutoring class is designed to help Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade students develop confidence in phonics, reading fluency, and early writing skills through engaging, structured lessons tailored to their needs. ✨ Focus Areas 🔤 Phonics & Word Recognition ⭐ Letter Recognition & Sounds ⭐ High-Frequency Words & Sight Words ⭐ Decodable Words (CVC, CVCE) ⭐ Digraphs, Blends & Vowel Patterns 📖 Reading & Comprehension ⭐ Reading Decodable Stories & Books ⭐ Fluency & Expression ⭐ Reading Comprehension Strategies ✏️ Writing Skills ⭐ Sentence Formation & Handwriting ⭐ Spelling & Word Building ⭐ Organizing Thoughts for Early Writing 📕 Class Structure Each 25-minute session includes: ✅ A warm-up activity to review prior skills ✅ 1-2 targeted learning tasks based on student needs ✅ A fun review game to reinforce learning Every session is interactive and engaging, ensuring your child develops a strong foundation in reading and writing while building confidence and a love for learning! ✨ Tutoring Policies 📆 Scheduling Tutoring sessions are held once or twice a week at a set time. Students should be ready and prepared for their session. ⏰ Cancellation & Rescheduling ✔️ One rescheduled session is allowed per 6 months. ✔️ Cancellations or reschedules require 48-hour notice via email. ✔️ Missed sessions without proper notice will not be refunded. ✏️ Materials, Resources, & Homework Students are expected to bring a paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker to each class. Some classes may include additional resources or supplementary materials as needed. Homework is provided upon request. ⭐️ Conduct & Expectation Students are expected to come prepared for each session. The tutor reserves the right to terminate sessions or refuse further service if a student engages in disrespectful or inappropriate conduct. 💛 I’m excited to support your child on their reading and writing journey!
