US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner Level
Hi! This class consists of explicit phonemic awareness, phonological awareness and phonics instruction that will build learners decoding and fluency skills. I use the UFLI curriculum which is research based and highly effective. Each lesson has a designated powerpoint where students work on letter-sound correspondence, blending, segmenting, sight words and their handwriting. These lessons are designed to keep students engaged and learning new skills. During my first lesson with your student I will assess them to understand what their strengths and needs are. Following this assessment I will be able to tailor instruction and lessons that meet your learner where they are. These lessons are designed for a variety of learners as they can be tailored to fit their needs!

Pre Assessment
In our first lesson I will get to know your learner as well as give a pre assessment to see what their strengths and needs are. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Phonics Skill 1
Based on the students assessment will beginning working on skills the student will benefit from. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Phonics Skill 1 Review
We will review the previously learned skill and begin instruction in the second skill. 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Phonics Skill 2
We will continue instruction in the second skill. 25 mins online live lesson

Learning Needs
Students will learning disabilities will benefit greatly from this course! Students will be given direct, explicit instruction that is based on their needs.
Supply List
Learners will need a white board and marker as well as a computer with working video and audio. A whiteboard with lines is preferred so students can practice their handwriting but not required.
