Beginner Level
In this one time class students will be introduced to the concept of "house letters." This idea is that each letter either lives in the roof, house or basement depending on where they are written on lined paper. We will begin our lesson by going over what each part of the house means before practicing letter formation. The main focus of this course will be lowercase letters, however if time permits we will venture into uppercase letters. While this skill may seem simple, students can struggle when asked to write on ruled/lined paper. It is important that students have a good understanding of proper letter formation. This class will give students a strong foundation and also a resource they can use in the future.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to correctly write the lowercase letters of the alphabet on lined paper.
