Class Experience

We have created a game to allow kids the chance to apply what they have learned in our other phonics classes. Each week we will spin a wheel, or pick from a hat a phonics pattern to review. Students will draw pictures that represent words in the spelling pattern. The students and teachers will pick words to practice writing and then spin the wheel again. Student and teacher will spell out words together, and keep a list of words. The lesson will conclude with trying to used the words...

Help students become comfortable applying phonics rules they have previously learned.

20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
