Welcome number explorers! We will have a number of the week focus, where we will practice writing that number and counting that number. Learners will also be able to bring things for show and tell to show that number. (Example: for the number 3 week, a learner could bring 3 buttons to share and count out for show and tell.) We will then go on a fun counting adventure to build our number sense and counting skills! Hello! Welcome to my Outschool classroom! I LOVE teaching through pretend play. My classes are for young explorers, ages 3-6, and I offer many different types of classes that are taught through fun and interactive adventures. Your little one will have so much fun exploring ABC's, counting, landscapes, and animals, as we go on our various adventures, all while building foundational math, reading, and speaking skills!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have experience as a 2nd grade elementary teacher and as an online ESL teacher, to children ages 4 to 12. I also have experience with teaching play-based learning activities to small children, ages 18 months to 5 years old.
I am a mother of three. I have two girls, 13 and 3, and I just recently had my baby boy. I appreciate your support of my classes, as they are what are helping me to be able to stay home with my babies.
I believe that learning should be engaging and fun, all while challenging students to think critically and creatively. I also work hard to build relationships and engage every child that joins my virtual classroom. I really do enjoy teaching online and I work hard to make sure that each student has the best learning experience in my classes. Please reach out if you have any questions.
