Little Explorers Show and Share Social Club With Mrs. Sarah!
What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this social club, your learner will have a chance to share something special to them each week. They will also be given a chance to interact with other learners and practice social skills such as taking turns to speak, raising hands, answering questions, asking questions, and just having fun making friends! They will practice using their senses to explore and examine their toys! They will practice using descriptive language by describing what their toy looks like, feels like, smells like, and even sounds like! This is a fun way to practice speaking and describing things. There will also be imaginative and pretend play involved as we involve our toys in class! We will have so much fun getting to know each other while sharing our special toys with each other. I look forward to meeting your learner and seeing what they bring to class. Once everyone has shared, we will play a fun color hunt game, where they will have an opportunity to hunt for a color and share what they found! Your learner can bring anything to class that they would like to share. It does not have to be a toy. Just anything that is special to them!
Learning Goals
Students will improve their social skills through sharing and showing things that they have at home!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! Welcome to my Outschool classroom! I LOVE teaching through pretend play. My classes are for young explorers, ages 3-6, and I offer many different types of classes that are taught through fun and interactive adventures. Your little one will have so much fun exploring ABC's, counting, landscapes, and animals, as we go on our various adventures, all while building foundational math, reading, and speaking skills!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I have 8 years of teaching experience. I have experience as a 2nd grade elementary teacher and as an online ESL teacher, to children ages 4 to 12. I also have experience with teaching play-based learning activities to small children, ages 18 months to 5 years old.
I am a mother of three. I have two girls, 13 and 3, and I just recently had my baby boy. I appreciate your support of my classes, as they are what are helping me to be able to stay home with my babies.
I believe that learning should be engaging and fun, all while challenging students to think critically and creatively. I also work hard to build relationships and engage every child that joins my virtual classroom. I really do enjoy teaching online and I work hard to make sure that each student has the best learning experience in my classes. Please reach out if you have any questions. I hope to see your learner in my classroom soon! :)
