Description
Class Experience
The student will understand and be able to use their global understanding of equation solving to work with different types of equations. Using the balance model of isolating variable, they will apply the learning to a variety of different areas in the overall school curriculum and in the real world. This will include science, finance, business, construction, etc.
I have been working with students of all levels for 40 years and see the connections required to help students to master increasingly complex algorithms in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus as well as their applications in other areas.
Homework is optional and can be accessed online.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Classroom observation is used to determine progress and mastery.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
