Variables will be used and learners that choose this problem will be guided on how to solve if the problem is incorrectly answered. Topics covered: 1-3 digit multiplication including fractions, orders of operations and word problems. Algebraic Expressions related to products for higher level learners. Class Structure: Class will be structured using a battle theme format as a virtual seating chart for students. The learners will undergo a mission that will require patience, dedication , and respect for each other's turn. Simple role play, discussion, and call-on. How will I teach? Use scenario-based learning, I will teach students how to solve a problem using one approach. What's my teaching style for this particular course? I will teach using Robert Gagne 9 events of instruction. This teach style will help me gain learners attention when it comes to correctly solving a rigorous problem. Learners will interact throughout the learning game and using slides/whiteboard to help each other provide solutions. Multiplication: basic 1 digit concepts down. Algebraic Expressions: basic knowledge of variables, and products/ratios.
