What will be taught? First 15 of minutes of class students will be taught to identify and/or explain the parts of the water cycle. 15-30 minutes of class students will be taught identify the states of water associated with each part of the water cycle and/or explain the phase changes that occur as water moves from one part of the water cycle to another. What topics will be covered? Exciting topics await our fantastic Pokémon Trainers about evaporation, condensation, and precipitation of the water cycle. How is class structured? In order to uphold standards from the Pokémon League, class management will be structured around respect for others choice of animal or Pokemon. Expectations for questions is to raise their hand clicking the “Raise Hand” icon. How will I teach? I will teach with the 5 e model to: Engage with my lecture slide presentation through discussion on group chat and call on. Explore a park full of water and conceptual model with a video clip. Explain the process of River’s Water Cycle with student interactions using words or illustrations. Evaluate the phases of the Water Cycle. Extend our knowledge of reactants and producers with a ‘diagram & label’ game. Prior Knowledge: basic background of water, clouds, sun. Can draw basic outline of water, clouds and sun.
