Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
In this class, students will learn and practice different phonological awareness and phonics skills that are foundational to becoming confident and fluent readers and writers. The goal of this class is to teach systematic phonics in an explicit manner. Each child will get practice decoding (reading) and encoding (spelling), as we know that these skills are interconnected. Phonics instruction is an essential component in structured literacy instruction and I hope to make this accessible to all children!
