- Students will improve on math concepts learned in Middle School Math, such as, pre-algebra and algebra. Here are some examples of math concepts to be covered: Expressions and Equations Number system Functions Linear Equations Geometry Statistics and Probability Scientific Notation Proportions and ratios One step, two step, multi-step linear equations Graphing: slope intercept form Operations with fractions and decimals
Please have student bring incomplete math work to class. Please have paper and pencil. Graphing paper and calculator may be necessary depending on the child's work. Please send work ahead of the class that way I can prepare example problems in the event we finish the homework early and have time for extra practice.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
