Your learner will bring unfinished class work or homework problems in which we will work together to better grasp the math concepts. I will instruct your student through each step. If the learner has completed homework prior to the session, I will provide with additional problems covering the same math concept. This session can also be used to help your learner prepare for an upcoming math test or prepare for a new unit that his/her class will be starting.
Please tell me about your learners background in math so I can better assist. For example: grade, what areas your learner is excelling in and what challenges they are working to overcome.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Welcome! My name is Natalie Corona! I am a certified math teacher in Illinois. I have taught math for five years. I have taught sixth through eighth grade math. Most times, when I tell people I am a middle school math teacher, they go on to tell me how much they dislike math and how it was so hard for them. Well, I am here to tell you that you do not need to dread taking a math class. I was that person who felt intimidated by math until I had the right teacher who really helped me to understand it, understand how math plays such an important role in all stages of our lives and that it can be fun. Math is actually really fun! My goal is to tie math concepts that are required for each middle school grade to real life experiences! I am a mom to three kids ages 6, 3, and 9 months. I love fitness and running. We have a pool so summer is our favorite summer! I love the ocean. The first time I ever went to the ocean was when I was 18.
