Here are some specific examples of math concepts: Scientific Notation Proportions and ratios One step, two step, multi-step equations Graphing: slope intercept form Operations with fractions and decimals Your learner will bring unfinished class work or homework problems in which we will work together to better grasp the math concepts. Students will improve on math concepts learned in Middle School Math, such as, pre-algebra and alebra.
There is no homework but extra problems are available on request.
Please have student bring uncompleted math work to class. Please have paper and pencil. Graphing paper and calculator may be necessary depending on the child's work.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
